Southern California Academy of Sciences 2010 Annual Meeting

COSEE West invites K-12 teachers to the Southern California Academy of Sciences (SCAS) 2010 Annual Meeting, Friday, May 7 & Saturday, May 8 at the California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) campus.
Your meeting registration includes:
- COSEE West-hosted symposium/mini-teacher workshop on Saturday from 8:30-11:20 am
- Dozens of 20 minute science research talks to choose from on both days
- Opportunities to meet and network with scientists and hear about their research
- Plenary speaker each day
- Science poster session & wine and cheese social on Friday 5:00-7:00 pm
- Junior Academy presentations (high school students will present their research!) on Saturday
The COSEE West-hosted symposium/mini-teacher workshop on Saturday includes:
- Information on COSEE West events, resources, and more
- Help in navigating a science conference
- A panel of COSEE West mentor teachers
- A panel of scientists who work with COSEE West
