Scientist-Educator Collaborative Workshop at California Polytechnic State University

Location: California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA
COSEE-Pacific Partnerships (PP) and the Center for Excellence in Science and Math Education (CESaME) will run a Scientist-Educator Collaborative Workshop at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA in May. Five Cal Poly ocean sciences faculty and 15 marine educators from the Central California coast - including staff from the newly reopened Avila Sea Life Center - will participate. COSEE-OS is training Dr. Shawn Rowe, PI, and staff members Heidi Schmoock and Coral Gehrke of COSEE-PP to facilitate the COSEE-OS workshop model. COSEE-OS staff members Carla Companion and Medea Steinman will travel to California to co-run the event and help document this model transfer process.
