Ocean Literacy Summit

The New England Ocean Science Education Collaborative, sponsored by COSEE New England, presents this Ocean Literacy Summit on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Boston University. The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Kerry Emanuel, who has been named one of Time magazine's "People Who Shape Our World" for his work connecting increasingly severe weather with a warmer ocean. Dr. Emanuel will present Program in Atmospheres, Oceans, and Climate at MIT. Walk-in registration is available. Fee: $30.
