Pacific Northwest Rocky Shore Biology Workshop and Field Trip at NWBIO 2009

Location: Clatsop Community College in Astoria, OR
Attendance: Any community college instructor who teaches marine biology, oceanography, or biology and wants to learn more about rocky shore organisms and ecology
This workshop from COSEE Pacific Partnerships will provide participants with knowledge about the rocky shores of the North West Pacific. It will cover both introductory and more advanced material. The majority of the day will be spent in the field at Short Sands Beach, Oswald West State Park where we will split into self selected groups based on previous knowledge. Lunch and transportation will be provided.
