Storytelling Workshop for Interpreters and Educators

OCEANIA and National Interpreters Association will host the Storytelling Workshop for Interpreters and Educators which will include a number of guest speakers including master storyteller Jeff Gere. Jeff will share how to be animated during storytelling and make a simple story come alive. Other speakers include Mark Heckman, Mahealani Cypher who will focus on the importance of tying place into stories. Moku o Loe or Coconut Island history and tour will be used as an example for the workshop.
