The Institute for Broadening Participation (IBP) and COSEE-OS invite you and undergraduate students at your institutions to join us for this free 1-hr webinar to learn more about the "nuts and bolts" of how to continue STEM science careers into the exciting realm of summer research positions.
We encourage you to gather a group of students to participate in the webinar together!
- Learn how summer research positions are important "stepping stones" to your future science career.
- Learn about governmental fellowships, scholarships and other methods of support.
- Hear directly from "research veterans" like George Gorospe (NASA) about their summer research experiences.
- Pick up materials about how to strengthen your applications.
IBP staff will host a Q&A session at the end of the webinar to address audience inquiries.
