Using Advanced Tele-Presence Technology to Explore the Oceans of the World With Kids in the Pilot’s Seat

In this Aquarium of the Pacific lecture, Robert Ballard will talk about the 53 years he has been involved in the development and use of undersea vehicles to explore the bottom of the ocean and how he is using new and adanced technologies to bring his explorations in real time to the youth of the world.

Robert Ballard is president of the Institute for Exploration. He’s also Explorer-in-Residence for the National Geographic Society and director of the Center for Ocean Exploration and Archaeological Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.
