Gears at Ocean Sciences 2014

Back by popular demand is the COSEE-sponsored and facilitated Gears Professional Development Workshop! Gears aims to bring together a small group of early career scientists and help them deconstruct (Gear 1) their science, understand (Gear 2) how people learn, build (Gear 3) effective communication techniques, and broaden (Gear 4) the reach of their science. This workshop will be facilitated by COSEE California, NOW, Ocean, and Ocean Systems.
The Gears workshop will be held at the Ocean Sciences Meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, February 23. More information can be found on the workshop flyer and by contacting Dr. Carrie Ferraro or Janice McDonnell at Rutgers University.
