New Video Storytelling Boot Camp

COSEE Florida is teaming-up with the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University and Boot Camps for Scientists, LLC to add a new Video Storytelling Boot Camp to the Presentation Boot Camp family of professional development workshops. The workshop will be held on January 15-17, 2014 at Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce, Florida
During the intense 3-day workshop, you will receive hands-on training in producing videos that engage, motivate, and inspire audiences and will be guided by expert instructors through all aspects of video planning and production. Topics will include basic and advanced storytelling techniques, storyboarding, camera work, audio recording, editing, and post-production compression and video distribution.
Who Should Participate?: Scientists and educators; all career stages

Time: 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Registration Cost: $300
Registration includes all workshop materials and supplies, refreshments, and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Attendees are expected to cover the cost of transportation and lodging. Space is limited to 15 registrants. Registrations will be handled on a first come, first-served basis.
