Research Experience for Pre-Service Teachers
Date: 05/11/15 - 07/01/15
Attendance: Second semester juniors and seniors in the IRSC, Florida Southwestern State College or Broward College Middle Grade Science or Secondary Biology Education degree program
The COSEE Florida Research Experience for Pre-Service Teachers (REPT) Program offers students and recent graduates in science education who have not yet started a teaching position the opportunity to learn first-hand about the process of scientific discovery and research. Students from IRSC, Edison State College, and Broward College will work with local scientists on marine science research projects for a seven week time period each summer. Students will be paid a stipend funded by COSEE Florida and the National Science Foundation.
