Ocean Observing System Summer Teacher Institute – July 30 - Aug 3, 2012

This year was our fifth and final year hosting this workshop and our third year of our teacher exchange program that brought five participating teachers from Colorado. This workshop is designed to introduce middle and high school teachers to near real time data: where to find it, what it means, how to use it, and how it can be adapted for use in the classroom to teach about the scientific process, specifically analytical skills.
