Dr. Mary Jane Perry was among 26 researchers from five countries participating in the North Atlantic Bloom Experiment. Seven of these scientists collaborated to bring the broader picture of the North Atlantic Bloom to wider audiences via webinars and classroom activities. All of the presenters shared a passion for a specific subject, and a willingness to work to bring their research to the public. Each contributed content to a webinar series and a set of data-based classroom materials, and reflected that they learned as much about each other's science and ways of thinking as they did about the nature of the bloom.
