Seas of Change: Exploring Southeastern Climate Change

Location: NC State (Raleigh) & Trinity Center (Morehead City)
Attendance: Formal and informal educators from NC, SC, and GA
COSEE SouthEast is teaming up with regional marine and climate scientists to offer a weeklong investigation into the connections between climate change and our world’s oceans - specifically, those issues pertaining to the southeast region! Explore the interconnections between global climate change and sea level rise, sea surface temperature, and ocean chemistry. Activities and resources provided will be aligned to state standards and will specifically address STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines. Any formal or informal educator in NC, SC or GA is invited to apply. All lodging, transportation during the workshop, materials and some meals will be provided by COSEE SouthEast.
