Investigations of the Deep Ocean

COSEE West presents this free Educator Workshop featuring Meet the Intraterrestrials, a presentation by Dr. Katrina Edwards, professor of biological sciences and earth sciences at the University of Southern California (USC) and director of the Center for Dark Energy Biosphere Investigations (C-DEBI).
Unique opportunities now exist for microbiologists, geochemists, and geophysicists to study life underground. Newly funded programs provide paths to investigate the subsurface using novel instrumentation and sampling tools that provide unparalleled capacity for interrogating the Earth and intraterrestrial life.
