Marine conservation organizations have joined together to offer a special Ocean Awareness Training (OAT) on O‘ahu. Those who complete all of the training sessions, a field activity, and certification test will receive a C.O.R.A.L Card (Care of our Ocean, Reefs and Animal Life) that demonstrates their ocean knowledge.

DATES: Thursdays, Feb. 20, 27 & Mar. 6, 20, 27
TIME: 5:45-9:00 p.m.
COST: $20 registration + service fee

The program is recommended for those employed or volunteering in the fields of marine education or recreation, and those who just want to learn more about Hawai‘i’s ocean environment. No prior experience is required. Instructors include university scientists, government agency staff, environmental educators, and conservation practitioners. The registration fee includes all program materials; light refreshments and parking at the Sheraton Waikk? Hotel are also provided. A flyer with more information is attached. This is the twelfth time this training is being offered on O‘ahu and we expect the class to fill quickly so don't delay - registration is first come and first served.
