- Gabby Barbarite (FAU's Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute) studies in the Indian River Lagoon.
- Dr. Matt Ajemian (FAU's Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute) studies bony fish, shark and ray ecology.
- Cody Mott (Inwater Research Group) specializes in sea turtle conservation.
