COSEE Webinars for Scientists and Educators
06/16/2010 | Marilyn Sigman, Alaska SeaGrant/MAP
Tags: Communicating Science, Lesson plans, culturally-relevant science education

COSEE NOW has presented two free webinar series:

    • Broaden Your Impact related to strategies for addressing NSF Broader Impacts requirements
    • Using Ocean Data in Education, which explored effective strategies for incorporating ocean data in formal and informal education products and programs, as a way to connect students to scientific concepts and real-time science
The sessions are archived on the COSEE NOW web page on trainings. Each topic is also being addressed in working groups, forums, and blogs on the COSEE NOW website.
