Background with Respect to Ocean Sciences Education:
I have a BA in psychology from Univ of Penn, MA in educational/school sychology from Kean University and PhD in cognitive psychology from Rutgers Univ. My doctoral research was focused on the creative thought process especially in scientists. I have taught, been a school psychologist, school district administrator, state director of special education and assistant commissioner of education, all in NJ. I currently am Vice President for Learning and Teaching at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ. Our education programs and exhibitions and movies all have a strong emphasis in ocean sciences.
