An Interdisciplinary Curriculum on Pirates

 

Table of Contents and Brief Summary of Lessons

Curriculum Goal: The students will familiarize themselves with pirates and write a comparison/contrast paper on pirates.

 

1.Are People Who You Think?

  • An active introductory to pirates and stereotypes where students not only learn about, but create their own pirates.
  • Incorporates Art, Language Arts and Social Studies
  • Estimated Time: 4 - 5 hours

2.Comparison/Contrast Paper

  • This lesson runs throughout the entire two week pirate curriculum. Students will write a comparison/contrast paper.
  • Incorporates Language Arts and Science
  • Estimated Time: 4 - 5 hours
