Cruisin' the Ups and Downs of the Sea"

Pleasures of the Sea

Ready...set...let's sail! In week two, students will get the opportunity to research some fascinating occupations at sea. They will also learn of the many recreational activities that

they can participate in while vacationing at their Caribbean island. While students are relaxing on the beach they will be soothed by the beautiful rhythm and rhyme of ocean poetry.

The tide will change and students will be "Cruisin' with Logic." In addition, time will continue to be devoted to Part 3 of "Cruisin' the Caribbean" (research), especially on day 3.

Students will have the chance to study a variety of positive and negative sea animals. To conclude week two students will have the opportunity to travel "Around the World" and

when they return share with each other their fictitious vacation to a Caribbean island. The discovery of many people's culture, history, language, government, etc. will be

fascinating!
