Third "North Atlantic Bloom" Webinar Demonstrates the Challenges of Ocean Research - 07.28.2011
In this webinar, Dr. Eric D'Asaro presented the reasons for the use of multiple platforms that measure over different time and spatial scales. The North Atlantic Bloom experiment was a complex, interdisciplinary effort, and this webinar highlighted some of the tools and technology used to measure a changing, moving patch of water during the 2008 study. The role of floats, gliders, and satellites is highlighted in this webinar.
