COSEE SouthEast provides regional interactive access to ocean scientists and educators to increase access to ocean sciences information, facilitate the inclusion of ocean sciences to to pre-college courses, and increase access of ocean sciences and ocean careers to underrepresented populations. We offer:
Professional development for scientists and elementary educators;
Resources to informal science education institutions;
Connections to regional practitioners through cyberinfrastructure;
Assistance to ocean scientists in preparation and implementation of Broader Impact strategies and public engagement; and
Strategies and opportunities that promote broader participation in ocean sciences pipeline.
