The world is currently (as of 2013) not on track to limit warming to 2 degrees Celsius and as a result, might exceed the carbon budget, a figure established by the IPCC in 2013. However, there are ways to manage the budget with enough global effort. This infographic, part 4 of 4, describes four ways to achieving this goal. The final graph depicts carbon dioxide emissions (in PgC or petagrams of Carbon with 1 Pg = 1 billion metric tonnes) over time since 1850 and makes the case that global emissions must peak by 2020.
