Ocean Sciences Education Leadership Institute

COSEE SouthEast is teaming up with regional marine and climate scientists to offer a weeklong investigation into past, present and future climate change topics - specifically, those issues pertaining to the southeast region! Warming sea surface temperatures, ocean acidification, rising sea level and tropical cyclone frequency and intensity will be explored. Activities and resources provided will be aligned to state standards and will specifically address STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines. Any formal or informal educator in NC, SC or GA is invited to apply. All lodging, transportation during the workshop, materials and some meals will be provided by COSEE SouthEast.
