I have participated in our regional planning meetings and conference calls, online workshop development, House Calls, curriculum development, and through presentations of COSEE materials at conferences.
Background with Respect to Ocean Sciences Education:
My education has helped prepare me for my COSEE-related wok. My undergraduate degree is in biology with a secondary teaching license with experience teaching at the middle and high school levels. My masters work in zoology focused fisheries and pollution. A Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Science Education) brought me full circle in academic preparation to work with the COSEE project.
