Prior to joining the COSEE SE team in January 2009, I had the opportunity to attend COSEE SE workshops and collaborate on a curriculum guide and marine debris activity guide.
Background with Respect to Ocean Sciences Education:
After earning a graduate degree in environmental science 2000, I've been teaching science throughout the states to various demographics. Since the winter of 2003, I have lived in coastal Georgia where I've been creating and facilitating content rich estuarine and marine based programs for a wide range of audiences. I joined the COSEE SE team in 2009 with the desire that my science background and eagerness to teach would be assets to make a broader impact in the area of ocean science education.
