Indian River State College (IRSC) brings its educational expertise and membership in the Florida College System’s statewide network to bear on the growing need for science teachers who are knowledgeable about the process of science and comfortable bringing ocean science content into the classroom. Dr. Edwin Massey, the current President of IRSC and a Ph.D. in Zoology with concentration in Marine Biology, is widely respected throughout the Florida College System.
